Program description

Tipt-Text powers text-message customer service for participating dry-cleaning stores (each a "Store"). After you opt in, you may receive order updates (ready / picked up / delivered), pickup and delivery reminders, payment requests you must explicitly authorize, replies to your questions, and an optional weekly pickup reminder.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide to participate.

Opt-in

You opt in by texting a participating Store's number and replying YES to the confirmation message, or by providing your number to the Store in person and confirming by text. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency & fees

Message frequency varies with your orders and questions (typically a few messages per order, plus up to one weekly pickup reminder). Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out & help

  • Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to stop all messages. You'll receive one final confirmation message.
  • Reply START to re-subscribe.
  • Reply HELP or INFO for help.
  • Reply STOP NUDGES to stop only the weekly pickup reminders.

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major US carriers.

Payments over SMS

A charge to a saved card happens only after you explicitly authorize the specific amount by reply (e.g. YES). Card numbers should never be sent by text; we automatically block card-number-shaped content from being sent. All charges are processed by the Store's payment provider; Tipt-Text does not store full card numbers.

Disclaimer of warranties

This service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free message delivery, and we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by your carrier or mobile device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tipt-Text and participating Stores are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this SMS program.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the SMS program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
